New Delhi: Real Estate firm Unitech announced the appointment of Rohit Chandra as the Chief Executive Officer of its telecom arm.
Unitech company, which has licence for offering services in total 22 telecom circles, has been alloted initial spectrum in five circles.
Prior to this appointment, Chandra was the Executive Director at Aircel.
“In his new position at Unitech telecom, he will be incharge of setting up and operating Unitech’s pan-India mobile business,” Unitech said in a statement.
He would also be responsible for providing strategic direction and operational focus to Unitech’s telecom operations and play a leading role in driving partnerships and strategic alliances for the organisation.
The company has also appointed Ashok Sud, as President-Corporate Affairs. He was previously President - Regulatory and Corporate at Tata Teleservices Ltd.
