Pepsi to introduce Diet Pepsi MAX

Washington: PepsiCo Inc., the world’s second- largest soft-drink maker, will start selling caffeine-boosted Diet Pepsi Max this summer to reach the young adult market.
Diet Pepsi MAX, aimed at those age 25 to 34, has no calories and includes ginseng and more caffeine, the Purchase, New York- based company said on 23 February. Pepsi and rival Coca- Cola Co., the industry leader announced plans to label the caffeine content in their drinks.
The drink will be available in 20-ounce bottles, two-liter bottles and 12-packs of 12-ounce cans. Pepsi will have a full advertising campaign when the drink becomes available in June.
Shares of PepsiCo fell 36 cents to $64.66 on 23 February in New York Stock Exchange composite trading.
