New Delhi:The country’s fourth largest software exporter Satyam Computer Services on 12 August entered into an alliance with RelWare, a developer of web-based solutions to deliver solutions to healthcare organisations around the world.
As per the alliance, Satyam and RelWare would implement, customise, train, and provide professional services with support of RelWares OneRecord solution around the world, a joint statement said.
This newly formed alliance would provide healthcare organisations, physicians and patients access to a full range of solutions from a full-blown acute-care electronic medical records systems (EMR) to a personal health record (PHR) for individuals, it added.
The relationship would leverage RelWares service-oriented architecture (SOA) and other web-technologies to allow both organisations to provide solutions for healthcare.
This transformation would also lower costs and save time, thus, allowing medical professionals to spend more time in providing enhanced care to patients rather than managing paperwork. It would have real and measurable business and patient health benefits.
“In addition to streamlining processes and reducing costs, our efforts will free up medical professionals to focus on patient care, which will truly improve the quality of life for many people,” Satyams Healthcare Practice Vice-President and Global Head Prasad Dindigal said.
The alliance would also help both companies enhance customer experience. While, Satyam would benefit from exposure to RelWares customers and unprecedented technology, RelWare would gain access to the resources and reach of a global organisation.
