Britannia CFO to resign, VP named replacement
Raju Thomas’s resignation will be effective 1 February
Bangalore: Britannia Industries Ltd, maker of Good Day and Tiger biscuits, said Raju Thomas will resign from his position as chief financial officer and be replaced by Vinod Menon, currently vice-president for strategy and new business development.
Thomas’s resignation will be effective 1 February, Britannia said in a regulatory filing.
Former Hindustan Unilever veteran Thomas joined Britannia in November 2008, while Menon has been with the company since 1993.
Britannia shares shed 1.52% to Rs502.90 on BSE Ltd. The benchmark Sensex index pared 0.47% to 19,691.42 points.
