New Delhi: The government has more than doubled allocation of gas for Dabhol power plant in Maharashtra from Reliance Industries Ltd’s D6 block to 5.67 mscmd. The plant, which currently uses liquefied natural gas, will switch to D6 gas from 1 October.
“It has been decided to increase the said allocation from 2.7mscmd to 5.67mscmd from 1 October,” the petroleum ministry said in a 15 September letter to RIL.
