Mumbai: Wind energy major Suzlon Energy Wednesday said it will supply wind turbine generators to AGL Energy to help the Australian firm generate 113.4 MW of power, for an undisclosed amount.
In a filing to the Bombay stock exchange, the company said Suzlon Energy Australia Pty, a step-down wholly-owned subsidiary, has entered into an agreement with AGL Energy for supplying 54 units of Suzlon’s S88-2.1-MW wind turbine generators, which will translate to 113.4 MW capacity in Australia in 2009.
The filing, however, did not disclose the financial details of the agreement.
