Mumbai: Infrastructure development firm HCC today said it has bagged a Rs340 crore contract from the National Highway Authority of India (NHAI) for constructing a 4.4 km long highway.
The order was received from NHAI to construct a 4.4 km highway at Badarpur on National Highway 2 on the Built, Operate and Transfer (BOT) basis, HCC said in a filing to the Bombay Stock Exchange.
The order also includes construction, development and maintenance of a six-lane elevated road. The project has a concession period of 20 years, including a construction period of 24 months, the company added.
The highway would provide relief to inter-state movement on Mathura road. Shares of the company were trading at Rs 77.75, down 2.69 % on the BSE.
