M&M May sales up by 15.5%

Mumbai: Mahindra and Mahindra confirmed today that its total sales in May this year stood at 20,653 vehicles as against 17,079 in May 2007 which was an increase of 15.5%.

Its domestic sales stood at 19,296 vehicles in May 2008 against 17,079 vehicles a year ago, registering a healthy and satisfactory growth of 13%.

Exports for the reporting month stood at 1,357 vehicles against 802 vehicles in May 2007.

Meanwhile sales of Logan dipped to 1,531 units in May 2008 as against 2,551 units a year ago.
