ING Vysya see FY12 NIM at 3.1-3.3%: official

Mumbai: ING Vysya Bank sees net interest margin (NIM) of 3.1-3.3% in the current fiacal year ending March 2012, a senior official said on Monday.

“Clearly in the current interest rate environment, margins are going to be a challenge, but I think we should be around current levels in terms of margins,” chief financial officer Jayant Mehrotra said.

For the September quarter, the bank had reported NIM of 3.35%.

Shares of ING Vysya bank closed 0.51% lower at Rs 312.65 on Monday.
