Mumbai: Sport management company IMG-Reliance, the commercial partner of the All India Football Federation (AIFF), has signed a three-year deal with Dubai-based broadcaster Ten Sports to air the I-League, the Indian club tournament, and the Federation Cup across various media platforms.
“We are happy to bring Ten Sports on board as a broadcast partner in football. Having a long-term partnership with the broadcaster is an important step in ensuring quality and continuous coverage of the two competitions," said an IMG-Reliance spokesperson.
Ten Sports will broadcast the I-League competition, which begins 6 October, on football channel Ten Action. It will telecast 75 live and taped matches through the season. Ten Action also has the mandate for showing the Federation Cup for two seasons starting in 2013.
