Mumbai: Satish Sathyanarayana has been named the CEO of Wunderman India, an integrated market solutions company. Rajat Sethi who was the CEO & Director on Wunderman India board has decided to move on and will leave the company by month-end.

In India, Wunderman has presence in Chennai, Delhi, Mumbai and Bangalore. In the Asia-Pacific region, it is part of the Wunderman - Young & Rubicam Inc. partnership. Around the world, it is part of the WPP Group, one of the world’s largest communications conglomerates, headquartered in New York.

Commenting on this development, Arun Nanda, Chairman and Managing Director, Rediffusion | DYR, India says: “Since he took over the company in 2003, Rajat has done a remarkable job of not only growing the business but also building a strong and committed team. Under his leadership, Wunderman has grown to become one of the largest, most respected CRM agencies in India. We wish Rajat the very best in his new career. Satish Sathyanarayana, currently Vice-President of Wunderman Mumbai, is being promoted to take over from Rajat as the CEO of Wunderman India. Satish has made a dramatic difference to his team and the business since he took over in January 2007. Satish brings with him years of vast knowledge and experience in the area of sales, marketing and CRM".

His experience in this industry dates back to the 1990s, when he joined Wunderman Chennai as an Account Director, managing the CRM activities for Ford India, Citibank and the Taj Leisure Properties.

In early 2000, he moved to OgilvyOne Worldwide as Integrated Marketing Director and Business Manager, responsible for the businesses of DuPont and FedEx. Satish was with Haymarket Publishing as their Commercial Director before returning as Head of Wunderman Mumbai.
