New Delhi: Budget air-carrier Spicejet Ltd has said it has allotted 15,360,715 warrants to Mauritius based GS Investment Partner I Ltd. for a lock in period of one year.
The warrants shall be under lock-in upto 11 December, 2009, Spicejet said in a filing to the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE).
The Mauritius based investment company would have an option to apply and be allotted equivalent equity shares against the warrants, the filing added.
Following the announcement, shares of the company surged 11.41% to close at Rs14.16 on the BSE.
