New Delhi: IT company HCL Technologies on Monday said it has launched Active Care Excellence (ACE) Smartcare clinical decision support solution at the HiMSS Conference in Orlando.
This solution by HCL Technologies has been developed in collaboration with Orlando Health, HCL said in a statement.
ACE SmartCare is a patient-centered, real time care management solution that improves patient care as soon as patients arrive at the hospital through automated, continuous clinical surveillance and care measures delivered via alerts to physicians at the point of care.
This more efficient delivery of care and compliance also results in significant savings for health care provider organisations, the statement said.
“ACE SmartCare is a breakthrough Clinical Decision Support solution that ensures quality measures are met and evidence-based medicine is practiced at Orlando Health,” said Orlando Health CIO Rick Schooler.
“Working with HCL on ACE SmartCare will directly enhance our business by improving the efficiency and quality of care delivery,” Schooler added.
SmartCare is a highly customisable mobile device-enabled solution featuring unified messaging through voice, data alerts and notifications across clinical settings.
The ACE solution suite utilises a predictive analytics model to generate configurable alerts, responses, escalations mechanisms and dashboards to help providers maintain compliance.
In addition, a plug in to an EMR clinical IT system through SmartCare improves providers timely delivery of care, the statement said.
“Our research and feedback from customers and prospects affirm that no product or solution in the market helped providers meet critical measures and compliance requirements, until ACE SmartCare,” HCL Senior Vice-President (Healthcare Practice) Pradep Nair said.
Orlando Health has utilised ACE SmartCare to establish rules, data surveillance, alerts and accountability to improve the flow of information to doctors, it added.
HCL Technologies Healthcare practice is one of the fastest growing industry vertical for HCL. The Healthcare practice consists of more than 1,800 employees across the globe.
