Energy | NPCIL says IOC, Nalco keen on joint ventures
New Delhi: Power producer Nuclear Power Corp. of India Ltd, or NPCIL, said Indian Oil Corp. Ltd, or IOC, and National Aluminium Co. Ltd, or Nalco, are keen to form joint ventures to build atomic energy plants in the country.
The companies may be offered minority stakes in ventures, NPCIL chairman S.K. Jain told reporters in New Delhi on Friday. NPCIL and NTPC Ltd may soon sign an accord for a separate venture to build as many as eight atomic reactors, he said.

New Delhi: Equipment manufacturer Bharat Heavy Electricals Ltd, or Bhel, has received a Rs1,300 crore order for the supply and installation of a boiler, turbine and generator package at the upcoming Vallur thermal power project at Ennore in Tamil Nadu, a company release on Friday said.
