BackMindtree hires former Wipro executive Ralf Reich
Reich will oversee Mindtree's operations in Germany, Austria and Switzerland

Bangalore: Mid-sized software services firm Mindtree Ltd has hired an executive from Wipro Ltd to head its operations in Germany, Austria and Switzerland, as it looks to diversify its client base and tap into European information technology (IT) customers.
Mindtree said on Tuesday that it hired Ralf Reich to oversee Mindtree’s operations in the German-speaking regions of Europe across key sectors such as banking, financial services and insurance. Mindtree gets 28% of annual revenues from Europe.
“Mindtree’s sustained growth reflects the expertise-led solutions it has been delivering to its clients," said Reich. “I’m thrilled to be part of the team, and with Mindtree, to help support our DACH (Germany, Austria and Switzerland) clients in gaining competitive advantage."
Prior to joining Mindtree, Reich was vice-president and regional head of the DACH region in Europe for Wipro. Reich has also worked at International Business Machines Corp., Hewlett-Packard Co. and Unisys Corp.
