PVR reports Rs7.66 crore profit in June quarter
The firm's consolidated net sales in the first quarter stood at `361.69 crore against `334.45 crore from a year ago
New Delhi: Multiplex operator PVR Ltd on Thursday reported a consolidated net profit of ₹ 7.66 crore for the quarter ended 30 June.
The company had reported a consolidated net profit of ₹ 13.60 crore for the April-June quarter of the last fiscal, it said in a regulatory disclosure. Meanwhile, in a separate filing, the company said its board on Thursday approved raising ₹ 500 crore through Qualified Institutional Placement.
However, it would be subject to approval from the members in the forthcoming annual general meeting, it added. Consolidated net sales during the first quarter of 2014-15 fiscal stood at ₹ 361.69 crore. It was ₹ 334.45 crore in the year-ago period. The company has informed that its “stand-alone figures of the first quarter ended 30 June are not comparable to the corresponding quarter ended 30 June on account of merger of CHPL, CIL and its subsidiaries with PVR Ltd".
Shares of PVR were trading down 1.50% at ₹ 620.05 per scrip at 2.57pm on BSE.
