New Delhi: On the heels of launching the Fanta Apple brand in India, global beverages major Coca Cola plans to undertake a marketing campaign for its ‘clear lime’ segment brand Sprite.
The 360 degree communication campaign would include mass media advertising, a television commercial, Out-of-Home (OOH) media, digital platforms and on ground initiatives and is intended basically to target the young consumers with the tag-line of ‘Seedhi Baat, No Bakwaas, Clear Hai’, Coca Cola India said in statement.
The new initiative comes a week after the company rolled out its Fanta Apple across the country. The company had in 2008 announced a $250 million investment strategy for three years and the new campaign is being seen as a part of that plan.
The company, however, did not disclose Sprite’s market share in the clear lime drinks segment.
According to industry sources, the clear lime segment has a 21% share in estimated Rs7,500 crore sparkling drink market.
