TCS bags $200 mn contracts in Mexico
Mumbai: Information Technology (IT) firm Tata Consultancy Services Ltd (TCS) has received a four-year contract worth more than $200 million (Rs786 crore) from the Mexican Social Security Institute (IMSS).
TCS will provide application maintenance and support, software development, business analysis services and value-added initiatives for IMSS’ affiliates, a TCS press release said.
Ajay Piramal’s group floats JV with Sunteck
Mumbai: Piramal Enterprises Ltd, headed by Ajay Piramal, on Thursday floated a joint venture (JV) project with the Sunteck Realty & Infrastructure Ltd promoted by Mumbai-based builder Kamal Khetan, called Piramal Sunteck Realty Pvt. Ltd.
Both companies will hold 50% stake each in the new company. Last year, Indiareit Fund Advisors Pvt. Ltd, the Piramal group’s realty fund, had invested Rs400 crore in Sunteck’s premium residential project called Signature Island at Bandra Kurla Complex, which sold at Rs20,000 per sq. ft.
“The company would look at several other developments across southern and western India," said Ajay Piramal, chairman, Piramal Enterprises Ltd.
