Bangalore: Leading vehicle maker Toyota aims at enhancing hybrid technology as it decides to increasingly apply it on all its vehicles as part of its goal of realizing next generation mobility through creation of new market values.
Toyota will also implement advanced driving assist systems as part of this endeavour, a statement quoting president of Toyota Motor Corporation, Katsuaki Watanabe, said here today.
Describing Toyota’s global vision 2020, he said the company constantly sought to create new values in all their endeavours to meet customer expectation.
Toyota will focus on creating a pool of workers with global skill levels in India. The Toyota Technical Training Institute and Toyota Technical Education Programme are among the initiatives taken by the company in this regard.
“We believe that our company can grow only in harmony with the local community. So our desire is to make a continuous growth with the community as a global citizen”, he said at a dinner hosted to mark the 10th anniversary celebrations of Toyota Kirloskar Motor Company last night.
