Mumbai: Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Ltd (HPCL) on 29 October posted a 43.25% decline in net profit at Rs853.03 crore for the quarter ended 30 September, compared to Rs1,221.98 crore for the same period last fiscal.
The total income of the company rose marginally to Rs24,515.20 crore for the quarter under review, against Rs 24,506 crore for the corresponding period last year, HPCL said in a filing to the Bombay Stock Exchange.
Shares of the firm were trading at Rs238.50, up 0.42% in afternoon trade on BSE.
IOB net up 28% at Rs319.70 cr
Indian Overseas Bank on 29 October posted a 27.96% rise in net profit at Rs319.70 crore for the quarter ended 30 September, compared to Rs249.85 crore for the same period a year ago.
The total income of the bank increased to Rs2,104.78 crore for the reviewed quarter, against Rs1,468.53 crore for the corresponding period last fiscal, up 43.33%, IOB informed BSE.
Shares of the firm were trading at Rs 136, up 1.57% in afternoon trade on BSE.
