Unity Infraprojects bags Rs383 cr from HSRDC

Mumbai: Construction company, Unity Infraprojects has bagged an order worth Rs383 crore from Haryana State Roads and Bridges Development Corporation (HSRDC), Chandigarh. With this order, the company’s order book for the month of May has touched Rs605 crore.
“These orders underline our pan-India capability and at the same time, confirms our commitment to providing quality in-class deliverables to clients," Unity’s vice chairman and managing director, Abhijit Avarsekar said in an official statement.
A contract worth Rs142.62 crore was awarded to the company for widening and upgrading the Rai Nahra Bahadurgarh Road (MDR 138) and Rohtak-Kharkhoda Delhi border (SH-18), scheduled to be completed within 15 months, he said.
The second contract, worth Rs240.45 crore, was awarded for improvement of Murthai Sonepat-Sampla-Jhajjar-Dadri Road (section of SH-20) and for widening, strengthening, providing drains, widening of bridges and culverts of Gurgaon-Karrukjnagar-Jhajjar road (SH-15 A), he said.
This contract was awarded to a joint venture between Unity Infraprojects and Backbone Enterprises, and the time period for the project to be completed was 18 months, he said.
The company is currently executing 10 malls in Maharashtra, of which five are with the company and the remainder include Magarpatta Retail Pvt Ltd, India Bulls, Big Malls, Avinash Bhoslen Group and Phoenix Mills.
