SBI’s 8% concessional financing extended

Mumbai: The State Bank of India (SBI) on Friday extended its concessional financing, at 8%, to warehousing and cold storage receipts for farmers up to 30 June.
SBI had introduced the concessional lending last year to prevent farmers from undertaking distress sales of their farm produce.
The loans will be available at a fixed rate of 8% for one year in respect of loans sanctioned and disbursed till 30 June, the bank said in a statement.
