Mumbai: Apollo Hospital Enterprises Ltd plans to add 10 new hospitals over the next 18-24 months at an investment of Rs3.8 billion rupees, chairman Prathap Reddy told reporters on Thursday.
Its bed count would rise to 10,000 from 7,400 now, he added.
“To fill today’s deficit in India, we need to add 100,000 beds per year. We need to invest $20 billion every year for the next 20 years,” he said.
