Mumbai: Mahindra & Mahindra Financial Services today said its consolidated net profit for the second quarter declined 8.61% t at Rs35.62 crore, from the corresponding period a year ago.
The firm had a net profit of Rs38.98 crore in the second quarter of FY’08, the company said in a filing to the BSE.
Total income rose to Rs331.05 crore in the quarter under review, from Rs290.07 crore in the same period last fiscal.
On a standalone basis, the firm registered a net profit of Rs35.22 crore, a 9.01% dip over the corresponding year-ago period.
The company’s standalone income rose to Rs327.58 crore in the September quarter, from Rs207.57 crore in the same period last year.
M&M Financia Services closed at Rs190, down 3.06% on the BSE.
