Bangalore: Precious Shipping Plc, a Thailand-based dry bulk cargo ship operator, has formed an equal joint venture with PFS Shipping India Ltd, part of the Indian shipbuilding group ABG, to develop a cement carrier dry bulk business.

The move follows the signing of a long-term contract between Precious Shipping and India’s Ultratech Cement Ltd in December to transport cement using three cement carriers.
