Bangalore: “Software services exporter Wipro Ltd, sees muted revenue growth in the fiscal year to March 2010 compared to the previous year,” its chief financial officer said on Tuesday.
“Wipro continued to see pressure on prices, but expected business momentum to pick up in the second half of 2009-10,” Suresh Senapaty said.
In April, Wipro beat expectations with a 4% rise in quarterly net profit, but forecast a fall in June quarter information technology revenue as the global downturn hits outsourcing demand.
Wipro, which offers IT solutions such as system integration, software application and back-office services, counts Citigroup, telecom gear makers Cisco, Nokia Siemens Networks and Credit Suisse as clients.
