Asian Paints to divest entire stake in unit

Mumbai: Asian Paints Ltd said on Tuesday that it will divest its entire stake in Berger Paints (China) Co Ltd to Golden Fly Horse International Holdings Co Ltd for $596,000.

Berger International Ltd, Singapore, a unit of Asian Paints, had signed the conditional share purchase agreement to divest its entire stake in Berger Paints (China) Co Ltd, pending regulatory approvals, it said in a statement to the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE).
