Mumbai: Power transmission company KEC International on Thursday said that it has bagged orders aggregating to Rs470 crore from Middle East and Africa to design, engineer and supply power distribution equipment.
The company has bagged orders from clients in Saudi Arabia and Chad for construction and supply of power distribution equipment, KEC International said in a filing to the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE).
The company has bagged the first order worth Rs300 crore from Saudi Electricity Company for the construction of a power transmission line in Riyadh, the filing said.
The company has bagged another order worth Rs100 crore from ministry of water & electricity, Saudi Arabia for construction of a transmission line, the filing added.
Further, the company has bagged an order worth Rs70 crore from Chad, Africa to supply power distribution equipment, the filing said.
Shares of KEC International were trading at Rs594 on the BSE, up 1.03% from previous close.
