Stand-alone revenue for Tata Coffee increased by a mere 1% to `153.26 crore

Mumbai: Tata Coffee Ltd reported a fall in its stand-alone net profit at ₹ 21.47 crore compared with ₹ 29.20 crore in the same quarter a year ago.
Stand-alone revenue for the subsidiary of Tata Global Beverages Ltd increased by a mere 1% to ₹ 153.26 crore from ₹ 152.12 crore.
Tata Coffee rose 0.43% to ₹ 975.30 a share on BSE before the results were announced on Tuesday, while the Sensex ended nearly unchanged at 21,251.12 points.
In the December quarter, the Tata Coffee stock rose 9.24% while the Sensex fell 1.28% and the BSE FMCG index fell 3.96%.
