Mumbai:
Allcargo Logistics Ltd reported a 28.7% drop in net profit to Rs.36.07 crore in the quarter ended 31 December.
Total sales rose by 41.1% to Rs.972.76 crore from Rs.689.19 crore in the year earlier.
The company has, however, reported lower sales on its key business verticals, including multimodal transport operations and container freight station operations, which led to a decline in profit.
Allcargo Logistics is one of the largest companies in the consolidation of less than container load players and handles large volumes of full container load operating in key areas including port and inland container depots.
The company owns and operates container freight stations in Mumbai, Chennai and Gujarat.
