New York: McDonald’s Corp said global October sales at established restaurants rose 6.5%, helped by new beverages like Smoothies, by its low-price Dollar Menu and by restaurant renovations.
The world’s largest hamburger chain said October sales at restaurants open at least 13 months were up 5.6% in the United States, up 5.8% in Europe and up 5.3% in Asia-Pacific, Middle East and Africa.
Europe is McDonald’s biggest market, accounting for just above 40% of revenue. The United States is not far behind with about 35% of overall revenue.
