New Delhi: Indian Oil Corp. Ltd (IOC) will start buying gasoline and diesel from Reliance Industries Ltd this month, IOC marketing director G.C. Daga said on Wednesday in a phone interview in New Delhi. The purchases may be enough to meet shortages and IOC may not need to import gasoline and diesel this year, Daga said.
Separately, petroleum secretary R.S. Pandey said the Union government is committed to reforms in fuel pricing, but it wants to ensure affordable fuel supply.
