Coimbatore: To meet the needs of global customers, Mainetti India, a garment hangers manufacturing firm, has plans to enhance production capacity in India.
“The main focus is to cater to the requirements of exporters and apparel retail chains in India and abroad,” the company Regional Managing Director, Sanjeev Kumar, said.
The envisaged growth in the garment industry after abolition of quotas in 2005 and the exciting retail prospects has seen India become a potential market for the company, he said in a press release here.
It has a capacity to produce over 300 million hangers from multiple manufacuring units in Chennai, he said, adding that the objective was to make any display stylish and orderly with a broad selection of hangers perfect for every purpose.
Mainetti has developed a range of products, manufactured at units across the World in 40 countries and also a range of clothes hangers in wooden, plastic, laminated PVC coated, rubber foam, canvas or satin material, he said.
