Mumbai: Jindal Drilling & Industries today said it has bagged an order worth Rs850 crore from state-run Oil and Natural Gas Corporation for hiring a rig for a period of three years.
In a filing to the Bombay Stock Exchange, the drilling firm said that the rig is likely to get deployed in the next month.
With this contract, the order book of the company stood at Rs3,700 crore.
Earlier in October, the company had bagged an order amounting to Rs810 crore for leasing its rig to ONGC. It had deployed a jack-up rig for ONGC in the west coast offshore.
Shares of Jindal Drilling & Industries were trading at Rs675, up 8.81% in the early morning trade on the BSE.
