Mumbai: Tata Consultancy Services, India’s largest software services exporter, aims to raise its market share in Latin America, Middle East and Asia, chairman Ratan Tata said on Friday.
He was speaking at the company’s annual shareholder meeting.
Demand for services offered by Indian technology firms has been rising, but currency volatility, wage inflation and growing competition from global firms such as IBM and Accenture are key risks for India’s $60 billion showpiece sector.
TCS plans capital expenditure of Rs 23, 000 crore rupees ($515 million) in 2012, Tata said.
