Moscow: Russia, one of the world’s largest arms exporters, will more than double sales of fighter jets this year as clients including India and Venezuela strengthen their militaries.
Sales will reach “at least $3 billion" this year, said Alexei Fyodorov, chief executive officer of Unified Aircraft Corp., the state aerospace holding. India, Malaysia and Venezuela will receive Sukhoi Su-30 jets and Algeria will get Su-30s and MiG-29s, Fyodorov told reporters in Moscow on 22 May.
