Mumbai: Jammu & Kashmir Bank today said its net profit grew by 7.53% to Rs115.92 crore for the July-September quarter from the corresponding period a year ago.
The bank had a net profit of Rs107.80 crore in the second quarter of FY’08, Jammu & Kashmir Bank said in a filing to the Bombay Stock Exchange.
Total income stood at Rs788.81 crore in the quarter under review against Rs664.77 crore in the same period last fiscal.
For six-month ended 30 September, the bank registered a net profit of Rs210.48 crore, a 10.17% growth from the corresponding period last year.
Total income decreased to Rs1,265.65 crore for six-month period from Rs1,606.11 in the year ago period.
Shares of Jammu & Kashmir Bank were quoting at Rs373, down 3.77% in early morning trade on the BSE.
