Raj Deepak Das joins Leo Burnett as chief creative officer
Das will be based in Mumbai and will work closely with Saurabh Varma, chief executive of Leo Burnett India
New Delhi: Advertising agency Leo Burnett India has named RajDeepak Das as its chief creative officer, the company said in a statement on Tuesday.
Verma succeeds K.V. Sridhar, who quit the company last week after a 17-year stint. Das will be based in Mumbai and will work closely with Saurabh Varma, chief executive of Leo Burnett India.
“Five months back we communicated our intention to be the best integrated communication company in India. With the appointment of Raj, we have made a decisive step in that direction," Varma said in a statement.
Das was earlier executive creative director at BBDO India. In the past, Das has worked on brands like Gillette, Visa, Pepsi, Mars Food, FedEx, BMW Mini and Cadbury’s among others.
