Mumbai: India’s largest motorcycle maker by sales, Hero Honda Motors Ltd, has rehired Ravi Sud as its chief financial officer. He will resume work from today, Sud said in a phone interview from New Delhi. Sud worked at Hero Honda for 10 years before leaving in October to join Emaar MGF Land Pvt., a real estate company.
Sunil Shahani named Balaji Telefilms CFO
Mumbai: Diversified media firm Balaji Telefilms Ltdsaid on Monday that Sandeep Jain had resigned as chief financial officer (CFO) of the company effective from 28 February.
In a filing to the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE), Balaji Telefilms said that Jain “has tendered his resignation with effect from 28 February. Sunil Shahani has taken over as the chief financial officer of the company.”
The company has also appointed Nachiket Pantvaidya as chief executive officer (CEO) of its television section and Uday Sodhi as the CEO of New Media.
Besides, the company has roped in Srinivas Shenoy as finance controller of the company.
Kudva to handle more Franklin?fund regions
Mumbai: Franklin Templeton on Monday named Vivek Kudva, president of its Indian fund unit as managing director for India as well as Central and Eastern Europe, West Asia and Africa (CEEMEA) regions.
Kudva, who spent nearly two decades in the banking industry prior to joining Franklin in 2006, will continue to operate out of Mumbai. Harshendu Bindal, a senior director at Franklin Templeton for CEEMEA regions, will replace Kudva as president of Franklin’s Indian mutual fund unit effective 1 April, the firm said in a statement.
