New Delhi: FMCG major Dabur expects its health supplement brand Glucose D to clock in sales of around Rs100 crore by the end of this fiscal.

“Dabur Glucose has been one of the fastest growing categories with an annual growth rate of 20-25%. Going by this rate we expect around Rs80-100 crore sales from it by this fiscal," Dabur chief operating officer Kannan Sitaram said.

The company has roped in cricketer Zaheer Khan as the brand ambassador for Glucose D, although, Bollywood star Amitabh Bachchan has already been endorsing the product for the last three years.

Sitaram said the company will continue to actively associate with sports to provide a youthful image to Glucose D.

“We want to associate with sports and make the brand more youth oriented," he said.

Besides cricket, the company will be organizing lot of sports activities, including, tennis and hockey this year.

Asked if the company is planning to launch new flavours of Glucose D, Sitaram replied in the negative, saying Dabur is more focused on marketing its existing brands.

Dabur has a share of around 24% in the estimated Rs250 crore Indian health supplement market.
