Infosys’s chief compliance officer Nithyanandan Radhakrishnan quits
Parvatheesam Kanchinadham will be the new chief compliance officer and company secretary
Bangalore: Infosys Ltd’s chief compliance officer Nithyanandan Radhakrishnan has quit, making him the latest top-level executive to leave the company since founder N.R. Narayana Murthy returned as chairman last June to lead a revival.
Infosys has named Parvatheesam Kanchinadham, who was the company’s chief risk officer earlier, as its new chief compliance officer and company secretary. The company did not give a reason for Radhakrishnan’s departure.
Kanchinadham will also act as the company’s ombudsman to whistleblower policy. Companies listed in the US are required to have a whistleblower policy to ensure there are no violations in the way business is conducted.
Earlier this week, Infosys appointed former White House energy and climate change director Carol M. Browner as a director to its board.
Radhakrishnan’s departure from Infosys follows at least nine other top-level exits from the company since June. Top executives including Ashok Vemuri, V. Balakrishnan and Stephen Pratt have resigned since chairman and founder Murthy undertook a massive organizational overhaul to try and revive the fortunes of the former bellwether of the sector.
Last week, Infosys kicked off a hunt for its next chief executive after S.D. Shibulal said he wanted to retire early. Earlier this week, Infosys forecast a 7-9% revenue growth rate for the current financial year.
