PremiumHyderabad: Holding out hope to those who have job offers from Satyam Computer, the IT major in its in-house journal said they would be “accommodated at the first available opportunity as and when it is identified".
“We interacted with freshers holding Satyam offer letters, appraising them on the current situation and developments. On their part, most of the candidates have indicated that they fully understand the current situation and are willing to wait until it becomes possible for Satyam to induct them as associates," company’s marketing and communications head Hari T. said in the in-house newsletter.
Satyam has been hit by crisis after its founder B. Ramalinga Raju confessed fudging company’s accounts to the tune of Rs7,800 crore.
Hari also termed reports indicating that Satyam was offering special discounts to “one of our largest accounts" for early payments as false. “Our customers continue to pay on schedule and no special discounts have been offered," Hari said.
