London Stock Exchange-listed business processing outsourcing (BPO) company Xchanging has appointed Nimish Soni as executive director, offshore services, Asia, effective this month.
Soni will be based in Bangalore and report to Xchanging’s chief executive officer Ken Lever. He will also join the company’s executive committee, Xchanging said in a statement.
Nimish joined Xchanging following the acquisition of Cambridge Solutions Ltd, where he served as managing director for India and was responsible for the BPO division. He founded Cambridge BPO (formerly known as ProcessMind) in 2001.
Xchanging employs over 3,400 people in India and has three of its top 10 global processing hubs in Bangalore, Gurgaon and Chennai. The company established its presence in India in 2003 and has significantly expanded operations since then.
