Crisil’s Q4 net profit falls to Rs70.79 crore
Total income increased to Rs331.97 crore during Q4 from Rs308.49 crore in year-ago period
Mumbai: Credit rating agency Crisil Ltd on Sunday reported a marginal decline in its consolidated net profit at 70.79 crore for the quarter to December against 70.92 crore in the same period last fiscal.
Total income increased to 331.97 crore during fourth quarter from 308.49 crore from the corresponding period last year, the company said in a statement. The Standard and Poor’s-owned company follows the calendar year for reporting its quarterly earnings. The Mumbai-based company did not attribute any reason for the marginal dip in the bottomline numbers. For the full year, the company registered a growth of 13% in its consolidated income from operations from 1,112.34 crore to 1,254.82 crore, while its net profit rose 6% to 268.44 crore over the previous fiscal.
During the year, the company paid three interim dividends amounting to 10 an equity share which has a face value of 1 and the company has recommended a final dividend of 6 a share and a special dividend of 4 a share. Total dividend for the year works out to 20 a share, against 19 in 2013.
