Mahindra Aerospace Pvt. Ltd and Mahindra Satyam have signed a memorandum of understanding for a trade partnership with the Eurocopter Group and its Indian subsidiary, Eurocopter India, the company said in a statement on Tuesday.
Mahindra Satyam has been providing information technology and SAS engineering services to aviation companies such as Airbus.
Mahindra Aerospace has been scouting for a technology partner to make aircraft components at its proposed plant in Bangalore, as Mint reported on 21 June.

A technology partner will help the plant get certified much faster, Hemant Luthra, president of Systech, Mahindra group’s component manufacturing division, had said. Mahindra Aerospace is a part of Systech.
The partnership with Eurocopter will focus on manufacturing sub-assemblies, engineering and customization of civil helicopters, and joint development of specific market segments.
Details of the scope and structure of the partnership will be decided in the coming months, the company said.
