Tata Motors plans to make Indonesia a hub to export vehicles to Southeast Asia
Mumbai: PT Tata Motors Distribusi Indonesia, a unit of India’s largest vehicle maker, has introduced Tata Aria, Vista and Safari Storme in Indonesia, the company said in a statement on Tuesday.

Tata Motors is entering Indonesia as the country is set to become Southeast Asia’s biggest car market in 2014, according to IHS Automotive. Most of the region’s 600 million people—the combined population of the US, Germany and Brazil—will be middle class by 2020, and that will boost consumer demand, according to Bain and Co.
Tata Motors shares closed 9.88% higher at ₹ 349.20 apiece on BSE.
