Mumbai: State-run Petronet LNG announced a net profit of Rs103.36 crore for the second quarter ended 30 September, a 10.51% decline over the corresponding period a year-ago.
The company had a net profit of Rs115.51 crore for the same quarter in FY’08, Petronet LNG said in a filing to the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE).
The total income of the company declined to Rs1,654.92 crore for the quarter under review from Rs1,670.50 crore in the year-ago period.
For the six months ending 30 September, the public sector energy firm registered a net decline of 6.4% at Rs209.01 crore against Rs223.53 crore in the year-ago period.
While the total income in six months rose to Rs3,300.77 crore, from Rs3,221.52 crore in the corresponding period last fiscal.
