New Delhi: Japanese car major Toyota launched a limited edition of its premium sedan Corolla in India on 16 May.
The company sells the top-end variant of Corolla at Rs10,95,450 (ex-showroom Delhi) and the limited editionof 300 units would be sold in India, has been priced slightly above this variant.
“We are targeting the limited edition at the younger segment of customers, who are climbing up the social ladder in life,” Toyota Kirloskar Motor managing director A Toyoshima said in a statement.
The limited edition would sport various new features such as a six CD MP3 player, keyless entry with alarm, ABS and air-bags among others. Toyota plans to market the product through Internet and has developed a website, www.corollalimited.com, to attract the target buyers.
