Mumbai: Travel technology service-provider Blue Star today said its second quarter net profit stood at Rs44.95 crore.
The firm had a net profit of Rs45.97 crore over the corresponding period year ago, Blue Star said in a filing to the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE).
Total income rose to Rs647.70 crore in the quarter under review, from Rs548.59 crore in the same quarter previous year.
Earlier this year, Blue Star had acquired business of Naseer Electricals. Hence, result of this quarter is not comparable with previous quarter, the filing added.
Shares of Blue Star was trading at Rs175, down 14.19% on the BSE.
