Bangalore: Low cost carrier Deccan will now deliver tickets directly at the doorstep of its passengers. The airline announced its latest service and distribution initiative in association with Express IT.
Express IT, a customer management logistics provider offering services for door delivery of tickets, will deliver tickets to Deccan passengers, said a company release.
Ramki Sundaram, officiating ceo, Deccan, said: “Our call centre is a crucial passenger touch point and leveraging it we wish to facilitate more and more people who do not use credit cards or the internet to book tickets on Deccan.”
“The tie up with Express IT will enable easy door delivery and cash pickup for passengers booking through our call centre. Through this service we are looking at increasing the range and breadth of our market penetration,” said Sundaram.
Door delivery service can be availed by passengers booking through the round the clock all India Deccan call centre, the release said. The delivery of the tickets will be done at all the 65 destinations that Deccan flies to.
